I’m a Senior Solutions Engineer at Remerge with over four years of experience in mobile retargeting and advertising technology. My journey in technology spans nearly a decade, beginning with my active role as a Technical Community Advocate with Wikimedia Foundation, Nextcloud, and phpList and FLOSS community from 2015 to 2017.
With a Master of Science in Computer Science from TU Berlin, I’ve developed strong capabilities in AWS S3, BigQuery SQL, GCP, Python, Natural Language Processing, and Google App Script. My master’s thesis on “Feature-based Extractive Multi-Document Summarisation” applied to Hamburg’s Digital Citizen Participation System (DIPAS) demonstrates my practical approach to NLP technology and feature extraction methods.
Since joining Remerge in 2020, I’ve progressively advanced from Working Student to Junior Engineer and now to Senior Solutions Engineer. Throughout these four years, I’ve led comprehensive client onboarding processes, implemented diverse ad types, and created custom business analytics solutions. I frequently serve as the technical bridge between Product, AdOps, and Account Management teams, leveraging my knowledge of PostgreSQL, PySpark, and Ruby to transform complex data into actionable business insights.
My technical foundation extends beyond my six years of formal education in computer science to include practical experience in cloud computing, machine learning model development, and database management. I’ve worked with recommendation systems, supervised classification models, and feature selection methods that satisfy both fairness and accuracy constraints.
Outside my professional work, I remain an active contributor to the open-source community, with over eight years of involvement from organized hack-a-thons to code contributions. This commitment to collaborative technology development continues to inform my approach to solving complex technical challenges.
