I’m Denisa Ruçaj – a Senior Solutions Engineer and researcher passionate about bridging complex technology, human insight, and collaborative problem-solving.
With over five years at Remerge, I’ve guided clients and teams through the intricacies of mobile advertising technology – from onboarding and integration to advanced campaign analytics. Along the way, I’ve built custom reporting pipelines, optimised bidding algorithms, and delivered scalable API solutions that improved both performance and customer trust. My colleagues and managers describe me as the person who brings calm structure to chaos, a problem-solver who not only fixes what’s broken but creates better systems in the process.
I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from TU Berlin, where I specialised in Natural Language Processing and data-driven decision support. My thesis on feature-based extractive summarisation applied NLP to Hamburg’s citizen participation platform (DIPAS), condensing thousands of public comments into actionable policy insights.
My strengths and motivations are a blend of:

For much of the past decade, I’ve contributed to open-source communities like Wikimedia, Nextcloud, and phpList – from organising events and localisation sprints to code contributions, hackathons, and research. FLOSS collaboration shaped my belief that the best solutions emerge when people with diverse skills and perspectives work together.
At my core, I’m motivated by two things: creating clarity out of complexity and helping people thrive in that clarity. Whether it’s improving technical workflows, building scalable systems, or fostering team collaboration, I bring curiosity, reliability, and a calm determination to every challenge.
